Positions Available
Brightview is currently hiring for the following positions:
- Irrigation Technicians
- Equipment Operators
- Laborers
Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties may be assigned as needed.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of our maintenance team, your responsibilities may include:
- Mowing small turf areas using fly-mowers or small push mowers
- Trimming and edging using gas-powered edgers and trimmers
- Operating gas-powered blowers
- Trimming shrubs and low trees to improve appearance and remove damaged branches or growth using shears, pruners, or hedge trimmers
- Picking up leaves, trash, and grass clippings, then loading them into trucks or trailers
- Performing hand weeding using garden tools such as hoes
- Reporting to assigned work locations each day and completing assigned tasks
- Assisting with Greenskeeper and Irrigator duties when needed
Physical & Work Requirements
Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors and able to perform physically active work.
Requirements include:
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and sun
- Repetitive physical movement including:
- Standing
- Walking
- Twisting
- Turning
- Bending
- Squatting
- Stooping
